Virtual Private Network

A virtual private network (VPN) uses the Internet to provide remote access to a centralized network.  Georgia Perimeter College’s (GPC) VPN connection allows GPC faculty and staff secure remote access from a remote computer network.  GPC faculty and staff can access the secure resources (applications, databases, and websites) on the GPC network as if they were directly plugged in to the network’s servers on campus.

The following procedures are associated with the GPC VPN Policy.  Please review the policy before continuing with these procedures. All GPC policies can be found in the GPC Policy Manual.

Connecting with the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client (Windows)

Below are the applications that DO NOT require VPN access:

  • Microsoft Outlook clients
  • Outlook Web Access (OWA)
  • GPC Main Website
  • GPC iCollege
  • GCP Self Service Banner (SiS)
